On July 14, 2025, the EU published the official revision of the EU POPs Regulation PFOA (EU) 2025/1399 in the Official Gazette, which will take effect on the twentieth day after the publication of the Official Gazette. The main control limit requirements for PFOA, its salts and related substances have not changed. For substances, mixtures and articles, the content of PFOA and its salts is less than or equal to 0.025 mg/kg, and the single item and total of PFOA-related substances is less than or equal to 1 mg/kg. The list of banned and restricted substances in the EU POPs Regulation remains at 30 items.
