What is FCC certification?

The FCC is the Federal Communications Commission, an independent agency of the U.S. government that coordinates domestic and international communications certification for radio, television, telecommunications, satellite, and cable. Involving more than 50 states in the United States, Columbia and the United States, in order to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property.

Many radio application products, communication products and digital products require FCC approval to enter the US market.

According to the relevant part of the US Federal Communications Regulations (CFR 47 part), all electronic products entering the United States need to be certified for electromagnetic compatibility.

FCC Certification Necessity

FCC certification requires that any product covered by FCC regulations go through the "equipment authorization process." FCC certification application process

1. Apply for an FRN first. If the applicant is applying for an FCC ID for the first time, he needs to apply for a permanent Grantee Code, apply for an ID for the first time, and apply for a Grantee Cde.
